This asynchronous online course is a learning experience curated for mental health and wellness professionals of all backgrounds, from across the globe, that serve the Black community with the intention to liberate.
The content explored centers the needs of Descendants of Africans enslaved in the U.S., however the concepts are applicable to offering liberatory therapeutic space for BIPOC.
COURSE FORMAT
TRAINING INTENSIVE: Ten Month Access to Modules begins immediately
Seven pre-recorded 90- 120 minute Modules (eligible for up to 13 CEUs) for self study WITH prompted activities each module to grasp the subject presented.
Modules are gradually released over the 1st eight weeks of access to support pacing and genuine engagement.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS
Pro Bono Counseling is authorized by the The Maryland Boards of Social Work Examiners (Category 2) and Professional Counselors and Therapists (Category B) and certify that this program meets the criteria for thirteen (13) credit hours of continuing education for social workers, professional counselors, and therapists licensed in Maryland.
Must submit proof of completion to receive CE credits.
Successful completion of this activity requires your participation in the entire activity, successfully passing the posttest and completion of an evaluation form.
